Ron Glowe

His works west of the Rockies depict the uniqueness of the prairies and BC landscape from land to sea. His artistic experience spans a lifetime with ten years as a graphic artist and sixteen as art director of CTV Television in Winnipeg. Ron’s love for nature brings the beauty of our land and the wild creatures that inhabit it into his art. As well as a respect for all living things, evident in his works is the geometric play with a graphic eye for colour and light to capture the mood of the Canadian landscape.

Three decades of accomplished art by local artist Judy Jordison

20113_640 19772_640  19304_640

Part One: Spring is a journey through the sensuous forms and colours of fruits and flowers found in her home studio overlooking Semiahmoo Bay, opening in conjunction with the spring solstice.

Part Two: A series of landscapes of west coast islands Maine, Hornby, Vancouver and Orcas as well as works of Southern France and Italy. This internationally known artist offers large-scale work in oils and acrylics painted directly from life and nature that are colourful and bountiful as the artist who created them.
Judy continues to be exemplary in the arts community of White Rock. Painting on site “plein-aire” for over three decades, Judy has an accomplished hand at rendering the familiar as well as the unique that she experiences through her painting travels. Judy is part of the annual W.R Artists Open Studio Tour. If you have opportunity visit Judy on the art tour, tell her we sent you!
